Consultations
All our consultations are by appointment, but medical emergencies are dealt with as a priority. Some appointments are bookable up to 6 weeks in advance with the GP of choice or on the day that you wish to be seen with any GP. Appointments are held at ten minute intervals. We do try to keep to time, however at times things go wrong…….. Please try to understand. The practice aims to offer appointments in the following time slots.
How to book in advance
The practice operates an appointment system and offers pre-bookable appointments up to 4 weeks in advance with the GP of your choice.
How to book on the day you need to be seen
Some appointments are available for patients needing an appointment on the same day as the request being made. Patients requiring an appointment for the same day will be offered an appointment but not necessarily with the GP of your choice.
If you are in a life-threatening situation or have severe chest pain likely to be a heart attack please phone for an ambulance by dialling 999.
Chaperones
During your appointment with a doctor or nurse you are welcome to ask for a chaperone. This will usually be one of the nursing team, however if a nurse is unavailable another staff member can chaperone with your agreement
